Really magical place. We really were not expecting the cozy vibe and people just sitting around painting or chatting. Very skilled baristas, interesting mixtures, great coffee beans.

Wonderful flower slash coffee shop, small intimate and very cozy. We did the chocolate workshop and I have to say it was very enjoyable, easy to approach with a lot of options to customize your chocolate bar. Included in the pkg is a free beverage and a rose for each participant. Even if you are not there for the workshop the drink selection is vast and artfully crafted....a true hidden gem.

Love love love this dog-friendly cafe!! I wish more cafe can be like this. We were from out of town and brought our dog to visit Toronto with us. I am grateful to find a dog-friendly cafe so we can sit down and have some rest. The staff was nice, the coffee was good! We stayed there for two hours reading, chatting without anyone judging us. Our dog was quiet and didn't make any mess. It seems they also offer some workshops to teach you how to make fruit tea. Very interesting!

Recently moved to the neighbourhood and this is my favourite place so far. Will be my regular spot for sure. 🩵 felt really comfortable and yummy drinks!! Still waiting to try the wine at night.

One of my favs cafe in Markham. My go to for getting work done. The staff are sooo friendly and cute. I love the “melting” it’s my fav. Tried the black sesame latte and I’m not the biggest fan but that’s my fault bc i don’t even like black sesame that much idk why I got it LOL. Good quality coffee

Really good, unique coffee! The pineapple cake was really really good, 10/10! There’s space to sit and wifi to work, I believe they’re also dog friendly! There’s a flower shop attached and I believe they’re also dog run workshops too. They also have some IPA selection and wines in the store. Definitely recommend checking it out :) there is commercial parking in the back, a few street parking spots and a plaza across the street to park as well.

Have been here a few times and the coffee is phenomenal. Great hidden gem for amazing beans and to work from (they have power bars and seating!!) easy street parking right in front and along the side. Also have a selection of natural wines when they do drinks on Friday and Saturday nights!

Stopped by for a latte to go and was pleasantly surprised. I usually avoid beans with sour or citrus notes, but this roast had a lovely sweetness and a smooth, non-acidic aftertaste. I’ll definitely be back to try the Osmanthus Matcha Latte; I didn't spot it on the menu until after I'd already ordered!

Such a cute little spot, honestly one of my absolute favorites. The coffee is always amazing. Their new lychee latte is a must-try. It’s the perfect place to just chill and catch up with friends. Just a really solid neighborhood gem.

Dopapen Coffee in Markham is such a beautiful and thoughtfully designed cafe. It’s located inside a flower shop, which instantly gives the space a calm, cozy, and aesthetic vibe. The setup is minimal, clean, and very welcoming. A perfect place to sit down, work, or study for a while. The barista (Lux) was extremely courteous and friendly, which made the experience even better. You’re greeted warmly, and they are happy to explain the menu and help with recommendations. For drinks, I tried the iced Osmanthus Matcha Oat Latte, which was light, floral, and refreshing. A really unique and well-balanced drink. I also had their hot Sesame Kick special coffee, and it was warm, nutty, and comforting, with a flavor profile that stands out from regular cafe offerings. Overall, Dopapen Coffee is a great spot if you enjoy unique drinks, a peaceful environment, and beautifully designed spaces. They also have another location in Greektown, which is great to know. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in Markham or nearby.
